ATTENTION:
- The start date refers to the exact day the trip begins from the arrival airport in the destination country. The end date corresponds to the final day of included services, concluding with the return transfer to the airport.
- Airfare is not included. For this trip, you need to arrive and depart from San Salvador Airport, El Salvador (SAL).
- A local tax of $12 is not included, as it must be paid directly at immigration.
- Please check the necessary documentation for your trip. All documentation is the responsibility of the traveller.
- Does not include airfare from your origin to the trip’s starting point. However, if the trip requires internal flights, these will be included.

It’s the ideal destination for those who want to walk just a few steps from their bed to the lineup.
What surf level is required for Las Flores?
Technically, Las Flores welcomes all levels. It is a safer wave that starts over a shallow rock bottom but runs across a sand-covered point, making entry and exit easy. However, when a swell hits, a minimum intermediate level is recommended.
Where will you stay? We host our groups right at Las Flores beach, preferably in beachfront hotels just meters away from the waves. This offers a more comfortable and dynamic experience for those who want to roll out of bed and straight into the peak. If you’re a longboarder, you’ll thank us for staying here.
What are the waves like in Las Flores? The wave at Las Flores is an extremely consistent and well-defined right-hand point break. It starts on a shallower rock ledge, creating a more critical drop with sections that can offer barrels, especially at the main peak on bigger days. From there, the wave flows along long, smooth, and perfect walls over a sand-covered bottom, providing long lines and a safer ride for those who prefer to avoid exposed rock reefs. It is easily one of the most fun right-handers in Central America.
Surf Season in Las Flores - El Salvador
The season for Las Flores begins in April and ends in October. May is considered the best month to surf here, offering both great waves and hot, dry weather. Between December and March, the risk of facing long flat periods is much higher.
Main Surf Breaks in the Las Flores Region

Punta Mango: A perfect, more isolated right-hander accessible by boat or 4x4, featuring hollow sections and plenty of power.

La Vaca: A lesser-known right with good walls and fast sections, ideal for smaller days.

El Toro: A fun, well-aligned right that works best on the right tide.
